The founders of Pet Liberty Volusia have decided to expand beyond Volusia county to cover all of Florida.  Florida Animal Laws was formed to help fight legislation
in Florida, that negatively affects all animals and their owners. 

Alert - Volusia county council will be meeting on 8-7-08, to discuss their revised pet limits ordinance for all of Volusia county.  This proposed ordinance has a lot of problems - one of the biggest issues is that the county is trying to take away rights of pet owners.  Rights that are guaranteed to us by the US Constitution.  What makes the Volusia county council think their ordinance can take precedence over the US Constitution?   We need all the help we can get to fight this ordinance.  Please contact the Volusia county council and let them know your opinion.  Please try to attend this meeting on 8-7 to speak out against this bad ordinance.
